Mason received his Culinary Arts Degree from North Idaho College at the young age of 17, and while working at a local restaurant he returned to North Idaho College for his Associates of Applied Science degree. During his studies at North Idaho College, Mason received his Certified Nursing Assistant license and began his journey into healthcare.
Cooking and good food have always been a passion for Mason, however after a few years of working in the culinary industry Mason felt the family call to healthcare. Following in his grandmother and mother’s footsteps, Mason began his own legacy in healthcare. After Mason received his Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate, he began working in the field of geriatrics. Even from a young age Mason had enjoyed doing volunteer work with the elderly. Mason enjoyed three and a half years working in an assisted living facility where he worked with a range of disabilities and varying degrees of mental health. With a desire to further his healthcare service, Mason went on to work for a local hospital where he gained experience working in behavioral health in both the adolescent and the adult behavioral health units. It was from this springboard that Mason came to work at Innercept in early 2015.
In his free time Mason is an avid outdoors man, he loves spending time with friends and family camping and enjoying nature. Mason also supports the adoption and care of local humane society animals and sharing his home with his own adopted buddy.
