Mike was raised in a family dedicated to serving the community. He served as a volunteer firefighter and EMT in his younger years, following in the footsteps of many of his extended family members. His passion for helping others coupled with his desire to be more active in the community brought him to Innercept.
Prior to joining Innercept in 2011, Mike worked as a direct care associate assisting adults with developmental disabilities and very challenging behavioral needs. Two core values that are deeply important to Mike and that he shares openly with others is a commitment to our society and his ability to relate to others. Mike’s humility makes it easy for others to feel comfortable in his presence.
Mike finds a lot of gratification assisting the residents with everyday problem solving like how to navigate the public bus system. He enjoys the wide variety of personalities of the residents and helping them to access the community.
Mike’s after work schedule revolves around his two young children and teaching them how to have fun in the great outdoors.
