Tammy Miller

Quality Assurance, Systems Analyst

Tammy has over 25 years of experience working with children in foster care, children and adults with developmental disabilities, senior living to include dementia care, and working with displaced workers in the employment field.  For many of these years she was the Quality Assurance Manager for several Residential Habilitation programs in Idaho as well as many Senior Retirement Communities in Idaho, Washington and California.  In 2006, Tammy was awarded the Regional Administrators Award for Excellence by the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare. Tammy’s passion is ensuring that the services offered to vulnerable people are delivered with the utmost respect and compassion and with focus on the detailed needs of the resident and their family.

In her early career, Tammy was a Massage Therapist as well as direct care staff for children with autism. She discovered that massage helped to diminish self-abusive behaviors in the children. After so many years of working within the mainstream model of care giving services, it was with incredible enthusiasm that Tammy found Innercept and now has the opportunity to be a part of a holistic health model and integrative philosophy of support.

Tammy and her husband designed and hand-built their straw bale & timber frame home in the mountains overlooking Farragut State Park. In her time away from work, Tammy volunteers with the PTA and 4H.
