Adolescent Intensive Services

Innercept offers truly individualized programming for adolescents ranging in age from thirteen to eighteen. Located near the beautiful resort town of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, we are close to local amenities yet free from urban culture on site. Our staff members encourage a balance between physical health and fitness, environment, relationships, self-esteem and values. Typically our residents have not developed the usual coping skills necessary for age-appropriate life choices due to clinical needs or past experiences, and are in need of intensive supervision and support.

For this reason, we offer a goal-based treatment plan that integrates the objectives of both the student and the family. Length of stay beyond the initial, required 6 month commitment is based on individual goal achievement. Due to our small program size we are able to quickly develop goals, adapt structure and respond to both growth and struggle, in order to maximize each individual’s potential. Parents or guardians are important participants in our program and are included in the process of establishing expectations and measuring outcomes for their family, as well as participating in therapy with their adolescent. Education consultants, community clinicians and previous educators are welcomed into this process as well.
