College Support

In addition to preparing the residents for college through Innercept Academy, individualized educational plans can provide dual enrollment options for college credits while finishing high school. Those who have completed high school or a G.E.D. receive educational support while taking college level coursework in the form of advocacy for learning differences, study skills development, curriculum guidance, and setting up resources for tutoring and educational mentoring. Innercept has dedicated full-time professionals committed to supporting residents in this area and provides wrap around support through volunteering and vocational skills development.

The Coeur d’Alene area has four colleges represented, including North Idaho College, Lewis and Clark State College, Boise State University and The University of Idaho. The Workforce Training Center through North Idaho College provides various training programs and certificate-based degrees as well. We also support some students who choose to utilize online correspondence coursework for college credit.
