Clinical Director, Transition/Clinical Psychologist
Chris Laviola is a licensed psychologist who specializes in clinical psychology. He has extensive experience working in a wide variety of settings, with a diversity of clientele. He received his doctorate degree from Pepperdine University in 2009 after completing his internship at the Wyoming State Hospital. Dr. Laviola then completed his post-doctoral residency at a rural community mental health center in the same community. Dr. Laviola was the Clinical Director of a therapeutic boarding school for several years and more recently was a staff psychologist at Northern Montana Hospital providing outpatient, emergency, and crisis stabilization services. While there, he was involved in the development and oversight of the addictions treatment program as well as the chronic pain program.
Dr. Laviola’s clinical work has always been informed by a holistic and integrative perspective. He is excited to be part of the team at Innercept as they fully embrace and utilize an Integral approach.
Dr. Laviola enjoys spending time in the outdoors with his family. He is an avid snow skier and likes to kayak or hike the rest of the year. He and his wife chose Northern Idaho as their home to foster their active outdoor lifestyle, as well as the proximity to his family.
