Ralph Day, B.A.


Ralph received his Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Eastern Washington University in 2004 with a double major in Health Fitness and a minor in Secondary English. He taught at Minico High School in Rupert, Idaho for four years before returning to Spokane, Washington as Director of Operations for non-profit emergency service organization.

Other experiences include fifteen years in the Fire/EMS system in Colorado, Washington, and Idaho. He developed several successful fire and life safety programs for the Avon, Colorado Fire Department.

Ralph co-authored an article in 2009 based on his Master’s thesis with three other professionals for AAPEHRD (American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance) addressing the potential benefits of incorporating “Leave No Trace” environmental principals into school curriculum.

Ralph enjoys the outdoors, wood working, and participating in a Living History organization.
