Andrea Zazuetta has been in a variety of professional roles as an early childhood educator. During Andrea’s career she was a preschool teacher, a special education paraprofessional as well as a Director at the Calvary Chapel school in Anaheim, California. Andrea worked for the Idaho State Department of Education as their VISTA Coordinator. As VISTA Coordinator she worked with Title 1, school volunteers and facilitated many large community events. Additionally, Andrea wrote many grants that were awarded to the school district. During the non-school months, Andrea worked as a Habilitation Specialist supporting children with special needs and their families.
Andrea enjoys the interaction she has with the students at Innercept. She feels she is able to provide a listening ear and be a positive influence for them. She has a warm embrace that welcomes people to be a part of her extended family. Andrea knows that in her role “it is the little things that make the big things possible.”
Andrea has a strong conviction for volunteering in the community. Andrea volunteers her time with Specialized Needs Recreation and the Human Rights Foundation. In her children’s schools, she volunteered as the senior class parent representative and coordinated many other large events such as Grandparents Day breakfast. Andrea especially enjoys attending sporting events and is a volleyball coach for our local parks and recreation program.
