Admissions

Take the Next Steps

Our team of compassionate and knowledgeable admissions professionals have extensive experience working with young people ages 13 to 28, along with their families as they begin their journeys to wellness. We are happy to confidentially discuss any questions you may have about Innercept’s adolescent and young-adult mental health treatment programs, and are here to help you through each step of the admissions process.

Step 1 – Call or Email

Educational consultants, referring professionals, parents or guardians can start the process by calling or emailing our admissions team to discuss Innercept’s availability, questions about the program and clinical match.

Step 2 – Interview

Once appropriate releases of information are signed, educational and psychological testing/evaluations, pertinent records and information are sent to Innercept for review. Parental and possible resident interviews are conducted and treating professionals are contacted for consultation.

Step 3 – Clinical Acceptance

If the potential resident is found to be an appropriate match for the program by the clinical team and medical director, the parents and/or referring sources are notified and the admission process continues.

Step 4 – Sign Paperwork & Tour Facilities

Upon acceptance into the program, an application and information packet are sent to the family, and a tour of the program, its locations and team meet-and-greet is scheduled. Program application and forms (along with the admissions deposit) are finalized and sent to Innercept.

Step 5 – Admission

Admission dates are Monday through Thursday prior to 3 p.m. which allows travel plans to be coordinated and confirmed.

Working with Insurance

As part of Altior Healthcare’s commitment to increasing access to quality mental health care and making improvements across all four of its youth mental health programs, Innercept is now working with most commercial insurance carriers out-of-network. Families now have the option to utilize out-of-network benefits for treatment, marking a positive change as previously, our program was available exclusively for self-paying families.

In addition, Innercept is actively pursuing in-network contracts with insurance companies.
