Karrie obtained her Certificate of Advanced Studies in Trauma/Abuse/Deprivation from Ottawa University. Her broad range of work experience, including work at a premier residential treatment facility, rehabilitation, couples workshops for trauma survivors, lecturing and various experiences in client-based, solution-focused therapy and recovery work. She has vast experience in working in the field of relational conflicts, codependency, parenting challenges, teenage struggles, separation/divorce issues, blended families, adoption and sexuality.
In addition to these experiences, Karrie spent five years in the military serving our armed forces.
Balancing a compassionate, energetic approach to treatment with adolescents and young adults with keen listening skills creates an opportunity for healing with those for which she serves.
